Can-Am Field Scout^TM version II turns your Pocket PC and GPS into a powerful "In the Field" system for navigating and locating wells, point locations or other features.  Data is stored in database tables and can be entered and edited by user input or by GPS input.  These are displayed in textual form as well as on the map display.

We work in a fast paced industry in which the reduction of field time is a high priority. All Can-Am field crews are equiped with RTK GPS systems.

Although new technologies such as GPS allow for high rates of data acquisition, the legislated standards for the work still apply and it is up to the practitioner to ensure these are met.

Can-Am has established a strong assurance (QA) system for the integration of GPS surveys into daily operations.
